1. Richmond Hill

Richmond Hill is a city located in the York Region of Ontario, Canada. With a population of about 200,000. Because of where the city is located, the winters tend to be chilly and the summers cool. Richmond Hill was built on bedrock that was formed by melting glaciers which caused beautiful rivers, ravines, and kettle lakes to form. This city is incredibly popular because it offers wonderful scenery and a jolly community.

2. Thornhill

Thornhill is a suburban community in the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Thornhill lies along the northern border of the North York area of the City of Toronto and immediately south of the City of Richmond Hill. While its still close to Major Cities like Toronto, it offers a nice small-town feel. The city has a good average income and relatively low property costs and taxes. Which means starting a family here can be a great thing. As a small town, it is very child-friendly and family-focused.

3. Vaughan

Vaughan offers a multitude of schools to choose from private to public, there is a fit for every family. Vaughan’s goal has always been to be a modern city dedicated to families. So it’s no surprise that they have many public parks and spaces all around the city. There are also lots of shopping centers and Canada’s wonderland. Not only is there plenty of fun things to do in Vaughan, the city is only about a 20 minute drive away from Toronto.

4. Toronto

Toronto is by far the largest city in Canada. It’s considered to be one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, with over half its residents being born in other countries. This vibrant city, which sits on Lake Ontario, has lots to offer anyone who decides to make it their home. The cost of living depends on the area and size of the property. Because Toronto is so large there are many locations to choose from which attract different individuals or families.

5. Aurora

Aurora is a town in central York Region in the Greater Toronto Area, within the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario, Canada. It is located north of the City of Richmond Hill and is partially situated on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Many houses here in Aurora have large front yards or back yards. Most of these large homes are affordable so you don’t have to compromise on your regular leisure activities since you can enjoy them all, in a small relaxed town.

6. Newmarket

Even though Newmarket is a small town, it’s the perfect location for a family or a business owner. The city has easy access to all major highways, a skilled workforce, and a supportive business environment. The city is also currently constructing the vivaNext rapid transit system to make it easier to travel within the community. Apart from business, they also focus on recreational programs and more than 300 special events annually so there is always fun for the whole family.

7. Stouffville

With a rapidly rising population, the community of Stouffville is clearly no secret to homebuyers looking for somewhere to live close to the city limits. The former small-town, 40 minutes north of Toronto, is quickly turning urban, with an influx of residential development and all of the amenities to show for it. That growth has ushered in a new way of living, as mid-rise condominium and townhouse projects like this one create more high-density offerings for buyers looking to live there.
